Victor Herrero Forcada Biography


Victor Herrero Forcada, popularly known as Pulga is a Spanish professional footballer. He was born on 6 November 1985, in Almassora, Spain.


Victor currently plays for Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League. His main position in the team is of a central midfielder.


Background


Pulga started his youth career with CD Castellon. He has played for clubs in the third division in Spain. He made his senior debut with Club Deportivo Castellon B in 2004, in the regional leagues.


He played his first match on 28 August 2005, against UE Lleida by joining the teams as a 71st-minute substitute which ended with the 0–1 away loss for the Segunda Division championship match.


Pulga scored his first professional goal on 11 September, netting a goal in his team's 1–2 defeat against Xerez CD. He joined Logrones CF in July 2007. Since then he started playing a maximum of one season at various clubs. Pulga has represented Villarreal CF B, CD Toledo, UD Alzira, UB Conquense and CD Burriana in the third level.


In August 2012, he moved out of his country to represent Greece football club Iraklis Psachna F.C. in the Football League Greece, where he made 14 appearances and scored 3 goals. In the following year, he moved to fellow league side Kallithea FC.


Club Career


In August 2014, Pulga was selected by Kerala Blasters in the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. He made his first appearance in ISL on 21 October 2014 against Chennaiyin, which ended with 1–2 away loss for the Kochi based team.


In this season he made six appearances, including the loss to Atlético de Kolkata in the final. In the following season, he was retained by Kerala Blasters and played nine games. He scored an amazing goal against FC Goa in the penultimate match of Kochi on 29 November 2015, but the team lost by 1-5 in that game.


Records


In the 2014 season of Indian Super League and the 2015-16 season of Copa Federation, he won runner-up awards.
