Saber Khelifa: A Brief Biography

Saber Khelifa is a Tunisian international footballer who plays as a striker for French side Evian Thonon Gaillard FC. Khelifa has played for Stade Gabèsien, Espérance and CS Hammam-Lif. During the 2010–11 Tunisian Ligue Professionnelle 1, Khelifa made ten appearances for Espérance, starting in eight games and scoring one goal on their way to a record 24th national title. On 10 August 2011 Khelifa finally completed his switch to the newly promoted Ligue 1 side Evian Thonon. On 14 August 2011, he made his debut for his new club and recorded his first goal in their match against Nice, resulting in a 1-0 victory. This goal secured Evian Thonon their first ever win in Ligue 1 and maintained their undefeated mark to the new season. On 6 October 2012, Khelifa scored all three goals, making for a sparkling highlight on his statistics away to reigning champions Montpellier in a 3-2 victory. He made his international debut for Tunisia on 17 November 2010 in an 2012 African Nations Cup qualifying match against Botswana.
