Fact Check: Is Teresa Giudice leaving RHONJ? Exit rumors debunked

Teresa Giudice isn’t going anywhere! The RHONJ star recently cleared the air in an interview with E! News, saying rumors of her quitting the show were "not true." Teresa has been a part of the series since season 1 and has provided some of the most major storylines, like her ongoing feud with Joe and Melissa Gorga.

In her interview, Giudice said:

"Honey, I started this show, I am not going anywhere… I am not going anywhere."

Speculations about Teresa Giudice leaving RHONJ began when Andy Cohen revealed some details about his personal conversation with Giudice after the late-night show. According to Cohen, Teresa was "done" with the series after shooting for the season 13 reunion, and Andy even advised her to take a step away from RHONJ.

Teresa texted him a week after filming the reunion that she was "not leaving the show" and never wanted to quit. Giudice revealed in her interview that she was "over" the whole Joe-Melissa drama, as she has been dealing with it for the past 10 years.

Teresa Giudice got into a heated argument with her sister-in-law Melissa

Joe and Melissa have been in a fight with Teresa Giudice for the past several months. The couple even refused to attend the latter’s wedding and instead spent a day on the beach on her big day. In the season 13 reunion, Melissa revealed that her sister-in-law tried to convince Joe that she was cheating on him.

Teresa allegedly heard the rumor from Margaret Joseph's ex-best friend Laura and went straight to Joe’s house to tell him about it. Melissa slammed Teresa for the same and said:

"She has her minion make me look bad in front of everyone so everyone can hear the words 'Melissa's a cheater.' And I'm done."

This caused a very intense argument between the ladies, and Joe and Luis almost got into a physical altercation. Teresa clarified that her partner Luis was the one who wanted to tell Joe about the rumor so that he could “get in front of it.”

This was not the first time that Teresa had accused Melissa of cheating on her brother. In 2013, she told Joe that his wife was having an affair with a former boyfriend. Joe called his sister a “scum” for the baseless rumors and got into a fight with her then-husband in front of the cameras.

Speaking about RHONJ, Melissa recently said in the On Display with Melissa Gorga podcast that she would never run away from the series and clarified:

"I have no intentions on leaving. I never run away when the going gets tough. That’s not my personality."

Although Teresa Giudice herself expressed her best wishes for her family in an interview, she hasn't spoken to them since the reunion taping. Teresa said:

"I just gotta focus on our family, what's right for me. It's very stressful. As you get older in life, you gotta focus on yourself and what makes you happy."

She is currently living in Montville Township, Towaco, with her husband, Luis, whom she married in August 2022.
