Former child star Jess Smith, who is 28 years old, is preparing to welcome her first child with her partner Ricky Latham. Smith was cast as the sun baby in the children's TV show Teletubbies.
Jess announced her pregnancy through Instagram by sharing a few photos of her ultrasound. The caption stated:

Ricky also shared a screenshot of a news piece revealing Smith's pregnancy. He wrote:

"From then I had to go through auditions and short lists until they finally picked one person, Me! While recording my dad held a teddy bear behind the camera to get me to laugh, and rolled a toy racing car to get me to look down at the camera, it obviously worked."
Smith is a resident of Kent, as per her Instagram bio. She has around 5,000 followers on the platform. IMDb states that she was born to Bill Smith and Anji Smith.
A reboot of Teletubbies was announced back in September 2022 by Netflix. The show premiered on November 14, 2022.
The original show aired for five series between March 31, 1997, and February 16, 2001. The show was highly successful and was a recipient of a few accolades.
