How tall is The Hulk in films?

In Ang Lee’s silver screen version released in 2003, the character was more faithful to the comics, in that the madder he got, the larger he became. In the film, he starts at 9 ft, the second time he is 12ft, and the third time in the underground government bunker in the deserts of New Mexico, he grows to an enormous height of 15 ft tall. The film versions of the Hulk gave us a visual spectacle of the Hulk’s immense strength and speed. He made Hulk run at great speeds and leap incredible distances. In 2008’s Incredible Hulk starring Ed Norton as the titular character, the Hulk was made slightly smaller than Ang Lee’s version, at around 9 ft tall.

An Associate Professor of Physics at Southeastern Louisiana University named Rhett Allain did the necessary calculations to measure the Hulk’s actual height in the MCU by finding a film frame where the Hulk is next to some real object of known height. He concluded that the Hulk’s height in all the Avengers films and Thor: Ragnarok is approximately 8 ft 5 inches, which varies from the previous Hulk iterations. The MCU version as of now is the smallest, closer to his average height in the comics, with Ang Lee’s being the largest we’ve ever had on film. In conclusion, the green beast's height has always been relative, changing depending on the story and its physical need. Ultimately, there is no upper limit set on his strength and height.
