A new 191-page book titled The Achievements of Kamala Harris has become the latest meme fodder on the internet for satirical reasons. The book by Jason Dudash guaranteed a "fact-based report" about the VP's career. However, a quick skim through the book showed it was filled with blank pages, with a few words scattered throughout it.
The internet first caught wind of the prank book when an X user @jackunheard posted a video flipping through the blank pages of the book sold at a local Walmart. The post, which received over 5.7 million views and 109K likes, went viral on social media.
The book also reportedly achieved the bestseller label on Amazon, with countless reviews sardonically praising it. Social media also sarcastically predicted the book becoming a best seller, with one person tweeting:
Netizens ran with the joke, enjoying a hearty laugh at Kamala Harris' expense.
""The Achievements of Kamala Harris"—and guess what? All the pages are blank! It's being hailed as the easiest read of the year! Perfect for those who love finishing books in one sitting! This is INCREDIBLE!" one person wrote.
"Clear and extremely concise. The writing in this book even overcomes the boundary of language! There is no reading experience more effortless than this, highly recommend," another person added.
Another user expressed wanting to buy the book "just for giggles", while someone else said they would be anonymously gifting the book to their leftist friends.
"I might actually go buy one just for giggles," one person tweeted.
"Only $16.00? It's priceless," another person added.
"Omg if this is real I'm going to have it shipped anonymously to all my friends on the left!" someone else added.
"The author made this statement on Amazon "*** Due to lefty lawyers, we must include this book is mostly empty". Hysterical!" another user commented.
Others hyperboled that the book was an accurate representation of Kamala Harris' career.
"This is awesome and also not incorrect," someone wrote.
"Seems like a lot of factual information coming from that book," another user added.
Kamala Harris had previously published a memoir, The Truths We Hold: An American Journey, detailing her life and career in 2019.
Kamala Harris called Donald Trump a liar during a new podcast appearance
With less than a month left for the presidential election, Kamala Harris kicked off her weeklong media spree with an appearance at the famous podcast Call Her Daddy. Harris talked about reproductive rights, housing crisis, and student loans during the 45-episode with host Alex Cooper on October 6.
She also touched on Donald Trump's allegations about the people "executing babies" after they were born when talking about abortion during the presidential debate in September.
“That is not happening anywhere in the United States. It’s a bold face lie. Just a boldfaced lie that he is suggesting. Can you imagine he’s suggesting that women in their ninth month of pregnancy are electing to have an abortion? Are you kidding? That is so outrageously inaccurate and it’s so insulting to suggest that that would be happening and that women would be doing that. It’s not happening anywhere,” Harris said.
She also criticized Trump for claiming he would protect women during a recent campaign rally, bringing up how he appointed three members to the Supreme Court who overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. Harris also talked about the "Trump abortion ban" enacted in over 20 states across the US, adding that he was "full of lies."
Kamala Harris also responded to Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders' remarks last month about the VP not having any biological children to keep her humble. Harris said she felt "sorry" for Sanders, adding that she shared a beautiful relationship with her step-children, Ella and Cole.
"Family comes in many forms, and I think that increasingly, all of us understand that this is not the 1950s anymore,” Harris added.
In other news, Alex Cooper faced immense backlash for the Kamala Harris episode of Call Her Daddy, with many accusing the host of making her podcast feel like propaganda.
At the beginning of the episode, Cooper added that she had previously invited Republican candidate Donald Trump as a guest but he declined her invite.
