Erika Kirk, who greeted the crowd with tears in her eyes, delivered an emotional speech in honor of her late husband. Notably, she forgave his killer, saying it was something Kirk himself would have done. In her speech, she added that her husband's death didn't bring "violence" or "revolution," but a "revival."

"After Charlie's assassination, we didn't see violence. We didn't see rioting. We didn't see revolution. Instead, we saw what my husband always prayed he would see in this country. We saw revival," Erika Kirk said.

Erika Kirk spoke about the “revival” she referenced, saying that over the past week, she had seen many people turning toward faith. She urged existing believers to “shepherd” newcomers and to “water the seed of their faith.”

President Trump's son and political activist, Donald Trump Jr., reacted to Erika Kirk's words in his September 21 post on X and wrote,

"The biggest Fact Check True ever, incredible remarks by Erika."

Trump Jr. took the stage at the Sunday event and honored the conservative political commentator with his speech. He referred to Kirk as his "little brother" and said that he was "devastated" when he heard of Kirk's death. Donald Trump Jr. also recalled when Charlie Kirk proposed the idea of college events during the election campaign.

"When Charlie first said to me during the 2016 campaign, 'Hey, let's start doing events on college campuses.' I was like, 'Whoa, seriously? Come on, man. We've given up on that'... But he convinced me to give it a shot, and there were a couple of events that showed just how brave and courageous Charlie was."

The businessman figuratively said that Charlie Kirk had one of the largest microphones in the "entire conservative movement." He accused the media of smearing Kirk as "some sort of dangerous radical," adding that, at the core, the founder of TPUSA was open to disagreement.

"Charlie embodied something at the very core of our movement. When people disagree with us, we don't silence them. We don't destroy them. And we certainly don't sink to violence. We don't burn down their businesses. We don't scream at their children at Disneyland. No, we debate," Trump Jr. remarked.

The political activist also took a shot at people who allegedly celebrated Kirk's death.

"The true extremists are those who would justify and celebrate taking an innocent life over nothing more than disagreement. That is the real radicalism, and we reject it completely," he added.

Donald Trump Jr. said that Charlie Kirk believed in persuading people with "conversation." Addressing people, he stated that if Charlie Kirk were to be honored in a real sense, his loss could not be the "end of the story." He added that Charlie Kirk’s legacy must be that when he was assassinated, a million more “Charlies” stepped up to "fill the void."

Charlie Kirk was fatally shot during a debate event at Utah Valley University on September 10. The political commentator was one of the most prominent right-wing voices in America. President Donald Trump announced that Kirk would soon be honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom in a ceremony at the White House.
