50 Cent recently took to Instagram to express his shock at Hot 97 host Funk Flex's announcement that he was switching his radio timeslot. The radio show, initially broadcast from 7 p.m. to midnight, can now be heard two hours earlier. The new timing is from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on September 2, 2025, as reported by TMZ.On August 28, 2025, Funk Flex took to his X account to announce the new timeslot, adding that September 1 will be his last day at Hot 97's 7 p.m. timeslot. According to TMZ, Nessa Nitty will take over the 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. timeslot, while Hot 97's morning show has a new time slot from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m."THIS MONDAY LABOR DAY SEPTEMBER 1ST WITH BE MY LAST SHOW ON HOT97 AT 7PM!
