The previews from fansite accounts went viral on Twitter as it marked the first time that the 19-year-old singer was seen in public after leaving her group, NMIXX, and JYP Entertainment at the start of December last year.

K-pop fans were ecstatic to receive the updates as they had been waiting for the singer’s next move. The 19-year-old idol debuted with the O.O singers in February 2022 and departed from the group in December of that year. The announcement did not detail the reason behind her exit, leaving fans confused.

However, the 19-year-old recently made news after she signed with UAP (United Artist Production), a record label home to GOT7’s Jackson Wang, EXID’s Hani, and others. The extravagant event of Levi’s 150-year-old anniversary brought her back into the spotlight, much to fans’ delight.

Former NMIXX member Jinni broke hundreds of hearts after JYP Entertainment suddenly announced her departure from the agency and the group on December 8 last year. Considering the 19-year-old singer had debuted under the agency nearly ten months ago, the announcement arrived as a shock. Especially with no proper reason, fans supported and defended the idol against any speculative discussions.

On May 20, Jinni gave her fans a surprise when she was spotted attending Levi’s 150th anniversary event in Seoul. The 19-year-old singer kept fans updated with her pictures on her personal Instagram, which she opened in March 2023.

However, to see the singer out-and-about in public for the first time melted fans’ hearts. They gushed over the former NMIXX singer “glowing” and complimented her beauty. Likeiwse, they were elated to see the the 19-year-old singer make her way to an official event and seeing her in the spotlight after nearly six months.

While international fans gushed over Jinni on Twitter, South Korean netizens did the same on online forums, such as Nate Pann. It raked 157k views and 202 thumbs up. Comments underneath the blog included some mixed reactions.

Meanwhile, the photo aesthetic and her username on Instagram led many fans to initially speculate that Jinni had signed an exclusive contract with YG Entertainment. However, it soon turned out to be false.

UAP, Jinni’s new agency, hasn’t yet released any of her official schedules. Levi’s event was just the start of seeing the 19-year-old, and fans now excitedly wait to see more of the idol in the future.
