Prime Video has unveiled that Supernatural star Jensen Ackles will be joining the cast of The Boys season 3 as Soldier Boy, and fans cannot keep calm. The season 3 teaser, where Jensen Ackles can be seen appearing as Soldier Boy, is a montage of wild moments fans can look forward to for June, which is when The Boys season 3 is scheduled to drop.
In season 2, Stormfront was the first to get superpowers from Compound V, and Soldier Boy was the first to be packaged as a Vought International superhero. He had been operating in the era of World War II, where he fought Nazis in Germany and led his own team of heroes.
The trailer shows clips of Soldier Boy in action with his signature shield and also reveals a bearded Soldier Boy, confirming that he had been held in captivity before the gang found him. Ackles' performance in the trailer has taken Twitter by storm and fans can't wait to see him in full action on June 3, 2022.
The teaser was dropped as showrunner Eric Kripke and cast members assembled for a panel at the SXSW Film Festival which was held this weekend. Apart from Ackles appearing, the teaser also hints that Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher will be getting superpowers and confirms the casting of Laurie Holden in the role of Crimson Countess.

Jensen Ackles is an American actor, producer, and director who started his career in the industry as a model before moving on to acting. He is best known for his role as Dean Winchester in the WB/CW horror fantasy series Supernatural. Ackles can also be seen appearing on the NBC television show Days of Our Lives as Eric Brady, a role that earned him several Daytime Emmy Award nominations. He has also starred as Alec/X5-494 in Dark Angel and Jason Teague in Smallville.
