On May 18, it was revealed that BTS’ Jin, who is currently enlisted in the military as an active duty soldier, had an unpleasant sasaeng experience while on duty. For that unversed, sasaeng is a Korean word for stalkers who follow idols through secretive means while the idol is at work or in their private schedules.

A young female nurse serving in the Korean military in her 20s (Lieutenant A) allegedly made a 30-minute trip from the 28th division to Unit C located in B-city, Gyeonggi-do, at around 1:30 pm to meet BTS’ Jin.

The unnamed nurse joined forces with the base’s medic Person D and entered the Epiphany singer’s base, meeting him under the guise of administering the second vaccine which would help prevent hemorrhagic fever. She stayed around the BTS star under the ruse of taking care of him. She went around warning everyone that BTS’ Jin is sick and needed ample rest and care.

It was later discovered that the Moon singer never needed the vaccine dose and that the unnamed nurse had broken the military protocols to get close to him.

Understandably, BTS fans are upset and have taken to social media to express their anger and disappointment on this matter.

BTS’ Jin’s breach of privacy angers ARMYs who demand action against unnamed nurse

The unnamed nurse allegedly went around telling everyone that BTS’ Jin was sick and that she would stick around to ensure his well-being. It was then discovered that not only did the unnamed nurse break military and medical rules but also did not inform her superiors that she was leaving her station.

According to Article 79 of the Military Criminal Act, it is a punishable offense to leave your workplace without permission and calls for punishment by imprisonment for up to one year. Not only that, the unnamed nurse whom we are referring to as Lieutenant A has been accused of stealing Tylenol (vaccine) and administering it to the Epiphany singer with it when he did not need it in the first place.

Also, the unnamed nurse left their desk to meet BTS’ Jin at his base without reason, breaking the rules of conduct and invading his privacy. It is also alleged that Lieutenant A had bribed her way to meet BTS’ Jin by promising their base with a large supply of Tylenol from her base to his base, that is from the 28th Division to the 5th Division.

Unsurprisingly, BTS fans are angry with the unnamed nurse for breaching the Astronaut singer’s privacy and giving him a vaccine which he did not need, putting his health at risk and misusing their position and power.

Lieutenant A has categorically denied these allegations claiming that she was indeed called to BTS' Jin's military base to administer the vaccine and that she had indeed reported before leaving. Furthermore, she protested by stating that “it would be crazy to leave her station illegally to go to another division, simply to fulfill her personal desires.”

As per the latest update, the higher authorities at BTS’ Jin’s military base have been informed and are in discussion regarding the offences and a detailed investigation is in the works.

Multiple BTS members have had their privacy invaded recently

Ever since BTS members took a break from group activities to pursue their solo endeavours, their individual privacy has been invaded and compromised in recent times.

Leader RM’s private conversation with a Buddhist monk was leaked by the head Monk to Korean media. Additionally, an employee at KORAIL (Korean Railways) illegally accessed his personal information and shared it with her friends and family members.

V was allegedly photographed with BLACKPINK’s Jennie on an evening stroll in the dimly lit streets of Paris, and Jungkook recently warned sasaengs against sending him food at his personal residence.
