Bel Ponciano, a moment influencer on Instagram, was recorded throwing over £1,800 worth of cash down on a beach in Sao Paolo, Brazil on Monday, April 23. Ponciano uploaded two different videos of her stunt to her social media, with the first video being captioned, "The day I made it rain money at the Spa!"

In the second video of the stunt, which Bel Ponciano uploaded to Instagram, you can see her getting on the chopper with a pink paper bag in her hand, filled with wads of cash.

Ponciano, the generous influencer, dropped a total of 10,000 BRL - which makes roughly £1,553 - from her chopper, in banknotes of BRL 20, 50, and 100.

Bel Ponciano's Instagram handle crossed 100k followers after her helicopter video

In her Instagram videos, as Bel Ponciano goes up, she pulls out her phone from the chopper's window, recording as she throws the notes down at Central Beach in Balnerio Cambori, located in the south of Sao Paolo.

In the caption of this video, Bel Ponciano has written in Spanish which translates into English as:

"Never give up on your dreams. Only God can stop you!! Nobody else! And the next one will be a rocket."

The whole incident took place in broad daylight on April 22, 2024, with the beach filled with visitors and vacationers, all of whom appeared equally surprised in the video at seeing money fall down from the sky out of nowhere. Many of these onlookers rushed to grab notes flying down towards them.

At the time of writing this article, both Bel Ponciano's videos have amassed 163k and 110k views respectively, with hundreds of comments and shares. The videos also led to Ponciano gaining her first 100k followers, which happened in less than 24 hours of their upload.

Earlier this year, on January 23, Bel Ponciano also shared a video of throwing money at the public from the window of a building. This was shortly followed by the Instagram influencer throwing out money on the streets as she rode in a red Corvette through Atlantic Avenue in British Columbia.

Elsewhere on her Instagram profile, Bel Ponciano is also seen distributing food and clothes to the needy with her team. The influencer receives a wide range of appraisals from her followers for using her influence to do good deeds for the needy.

A Czech influencer pulled off a similar stunt in October last year

Bel Ponciano is not the first influencer responsible for making it rain money from a chopper. Before Ponciano, another Czech influencer had already pulled the stunt off in the past.

Kamil Bartoshek, who goes by the name Kazma Kazmitch on Instagram, did something similar in October last year. He had organized a contest for his followers and found an unusual way to distribute its prize among the participants.

Bartoshek invited them all to gather in a huge, empty field, where he dropped $1 million in cash from a helicopter. The entire incident was recorded and later uploaded by him to his Instagram handle, with the caption:

"The first real MONEY RAIN in the world! $1,000,000 dropped from a helicopter in the Czech Republic and no one has died or got injured."

The contest organized by Bartoshek was part of a promotional campaign for his recently released movie, The One Man Show. In the campaign, the influencer asked his fans to crack a puzzle to win prize money of $1 million. When all of them failed to decode it, Bartoshek came up with a unique solution of dropping the money in cash from a helicopter.
