The 26-year-old Grammy-winning singer then allegedly charged at the officers on duty and punched an officer twice in the face, as reported by NBC News. The policemen put the Thats What I Want crooner in handcuffs and instructed paramedics to take him to a hospital first. They suspected Montero was likely undergoing an overdose.

After getting treated at the hospital, the singer was booked in Van Nuys jail in Los Angeles on a misdemeanor and a battery charge.

As the OP caught up to the singer's pace, Montero asked them to "go ahead" and continued singing on his own. He repeated his words to the OP and raised his voice slightly. The clip then cuts to another instance where the singer asked the person filming to "put the phone down." As Montero continued walking ahead, he said:

Another clip recorded the Old Town Road hitmaker still walking in the middle of the street, much in the likeness of catwalking on a runway, while muttering something. At one point, he stopped to strike a pose.

A later clip showed Montero tell the OP it was gonna be a "beautiful sunrise" and then extending his hands towards them to say:

"Give me that phone so I can throw it away. I'm gonna throw it far away so you never see it again. I don't like phones."

Montero further added:

"Don't miss the party tonight. Why are you still here? You need to be telling everybody about the f***ing party, girl. What's your problem?"

At one point, Lil Nas X reportedly picked up an orange traffic cone and put it on his head.
