Grace Jabbari, a 30-year-old British dancer and movement coach, is the former girlfriend of Jonathan Majors. Their relationship spanned from 2020 to early 2023.. Jabbari was earlier charged with misdemeanor assault for allegedly choking the Creed actor and punching him during a car ride on March 25. She also accused the actor of domestic violence after which he was arrested on March 25.

Jabbari's professional background includes work as a dancer in movies like "Barbie" and "Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One.". She has also worked as a movement coach on Marvel's Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. This is where she met Jonathan Majors who played the role of Kang the Conqueror in the film.

What started the dispute between Grace Jabbari and Jonathan Majors

On March 25, 2023, Grace Jabbari allegedly saw a text on Jonathan Majors' phone which led her to believe that the Creed actor had been cheating on her. According to Grace Jabari, Majors then assaulted her amidst a domestic dispute during an attempt to get his phone back from Grace Jabbari. She also accused him of hitting her in the face, twisting her finger and grabbing her neck. She then went on to call 911 for help.

Majors was then charged with assault and was arrested on the same day. However, Majors through his attorney Priya Chaudhry has denied all allegations against him. He filed a cross-complaint against the British dancer and also claimed that he was victimized by her. He then claimed that she scratched and hit him.

As far as Grace Jabbari's injuries are concerned, Jonathan claims that she fell down in his apartment later in the night which led to the injuries. Upon hearing the news, many fans took to X to express their own views on the case.

Some even connected the incident to the Heard vs. Depp case.

Major's attorney Chaudhry on his behalf told The Messenger:

"From the beginning, we have said Jonathan Majors in innocent and provably the victim here. Mr. Majors met with the NYPD to present them with the evidence of what really happened on that night."

He then went on to file a domestic violence complaint against Jabbari on June 21 to the NYPD where reiterated his attorney's claims of being the victim in the case.

Amidst all this, Jabari was overseas at the time. And, according to a law enforcement source - she will be issued a desk appearance ticket which will require her to appear in front of the court to answer charges.

The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information (DCPI) for the New York Police Department on Monday night confirmed the domestic violence charge to The Messenger. According to the DCPI, Jabbari is expected to voluntarily report to the NYPD's 10th precinct in the future. This decision is a result of the actor filing a counter-complaint against her in June.

However, the Manhattan District Attorney had said that it wouldn't pursue criminal charges against Jabbari as they don't believe she committed a crime. Court papers filed ahead of Wednesday morning's hearing include prosecutors disputing a request to drop the case against Majors as they also don't believe that Jabbari had committed a crime.

Currently, Majors has pleaded not guilty and an investigation of the evidence on the matter will be conducted.
