President of Christian network Daystar, Joni Lamb took to social media to announce that her son, Jonathan Lamb, was no longer employed with the company.

This comes after the latter and his wife, Suzy, alleged that a male relative who also happened to be a Daystar employee s*xually abused their five-year-old daughter. The organization has since denied the accusations.

On November 26, Joni Lamb took to social media to say that Jonathan Lamb was removed from the company after he launched a “smear campaign” against the organization.

Joni claimed that the motive behind the same was not being named the future president of Daystar following the passing of his father and her husband, Marcus. She added that a Performance Improvement Plan was put in place for Jonathan after a 15-month performance review; however, he refused to participate in the same and refused formal mediation to return to his regular role in the company.

“Jonathan’s disappointment in not getting his way only deepened when I married Dr. Doug Weiss, who has been such a blessing to me, the rest of my family, and Daystar. I can tell you that as a mother and as a grandmother, this situation saddens me deeply, and it grieves my heart because I love my family and all my children," Joni Lamb said.

Prior to the same, Suzy and Jonathan Lamb took to X on November 19 to announce that they “no longer work at Daystar.” The following day they exclusively told The Roys Report that an employee s*xually abused their daughter during multiple instances between 2020 and 2021.

Exploring Jonathan and Suzy Lamb’s allegations as Daystar announces termination of the former's employment

Suzy revealed to The Roys Report that the male relative and Daystar employee followed her five-year-old daughter into her room while she went to change to go swimming. While recounting the incident, Suzy said:

“It’s like [the relative’s] eyes—he went black, and he’s like in a zombie mode.”

The Roys Report reported that Suzy was told by her daughter that the man touched her. Suzy also revealed to the media outlet that her daughter indicated to her that she had been r*ped.

Jonathan stated that he followed the relative who was going into his daughter’s room once, and he proceeded to shout at the relative subsequently leading to the family member apologizing profusely.

Jonathan and Suzy alleged that Marcus and Joni Lamb attempted to protect the male relative, and the company never contacted authorities against the family member. The couple also shared that the organization went on to conduct an internal investigation and:

“Concluded with no wrongdoing found nor evidence provided that corroborated the allegation.”

When The Roys Report requested the company for a statement regarding the incident, they said:

“There is clearly a misunderstanding of what transpired and the facts are quite different than what appears to have been reported to you. We simply do not support false allegations and are saddened by the continued relational incongruity between Jonathan and Susan and the rest of the family.”

Jonathan Lambs was employed as a vice president at the company. He told the Morning News that he was removed from the company after he refused to sign a non-disclosure agreement. The Roys Report revealed that Suzy was fired from the organization abruptly in July 2023.

Marcus Lamb passed away in November 2021, aged 64, weeks after contracting Covid-19.
