Bishop TD Jakes was named in a court filing in connection to music producer Rodney Jones’ lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs. In the $30 million lawsuit, Jones alleged that Combs:
“Planned to leverage his relationship with Bishop TD Jakes to soften the impact on his public image of Cassie Ventura’s lawsuit.”
For those uninitiated, Cassie Ventura sued Diddy in November 2023 and alleged that their then-relationship was a “cycle of abuse, violence, and s*x trafficking.” She alleged that Combs r*ped her, forced her to have s*x with male s*x workers, threatened her and emotionally abused her during their relationship.
Jones filed a lawsuit against Diddy, alleging that the latter drugged, s*xually harassed him and threatened him as he lived with him between September 2022 and November 2023.
