Radio show host Alex Jones has delivered a statement regarding an alleged law enforcement email that pertains to the death of Charlie Kirk. The email, shared to X by Steven Crowder, asserts that the cartridge casings used for the shooting contained ideological engravings.

Crowder indicated that the email was sent by an agent of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), and it documented that a firearm was located near the location of the shooting at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.

According to the screenshot of the email posted by Crowder, law enforcement located a bolt-action rifle with cartridges.

"All cartridges have engraved wording on them, expressing transgender and anti-fascist ideology," the alleged email read.

The report, which has yet to be independently confirmed by news outlets, says that the "primary suspect is still unknown" and that the gun has been seized by the FBI for forensic analysis. The investigation is said to be a cooperative effort among many federal, state, and local authorities.

In a video monologue posted on X, Alex Jones seized upon the purported email to build a narrative about the shooter, stating:

"Stephen Crowder is now exclusively doing ATF reporting. The documents he got from the ATF confirmed that it was a trans shooter....This is literally a zombie army of killers, and they're totally brainwashed."

Alex Jones then tied the event to a previous shooting in Minneapolis, alleging the same M.O. He further claimed, "This is MK Ultra 2.0," referring to an unfounded conspiracy theory about a mind-control program. While stating they "actually believe we know who it is," referring to internet posts, Jones again did not provide evidence for this claim or name anyone.

The talk show host used his platform to frame the event as part of a larger, organized effort, stating:

"They've been calling for their days of rage. They have been building up; they're very suicidal. They believe it's everybody's fault, and they've got to go out and kill."

He finished his remarks by saying he hoped everyone would pray for Charlie Kirk and his family and to stay tuned for more updates on his show.

Alex Jones cites unverified email in wake of Charlie Kirk’s killing

As indicated in the purported ATF email, the events of the incident are as follows: A suspect fired a single shot from an elevated rooftop and fled on foot. The investigation is ongoing; the email says "multiple persons of interest have been contacted or detained," although the main suspect is still at large.

Neither the ATF nor the FBI has issued public statements regarding whether the email published by Crowder, or Alex Jones' claims, were real.

The standard procedure for any ongoing investigation is not to divulge exhibits, especially if it may impede the case, or so that they do not influence a falsified narrative.

The passing of Charlie Kirk, a well-known conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, has rattled the political world. The spread of uncorroborated information from figures like Alex Jones is emblematic of the uncertain and often conjectural nature of breaking news events, including those driven by some ideological basis.
