#1: Chris Jericho's meltdown was a perfect way to end the episode

Le Champion came across a roadblock on last night's episode.

What seemed like an opportunity for Chris Jericho to become a double champion ended with him throwing a fit over facing his first AEW in-ring loss.

We have had so many explosive endings to AEW Dynamite so far, that a veteran champion almost coming to tears by taking a hit in match statistics is just another creative and highly entertaining visual to leave your fans with.

What's even better is how Jericho is so great at shifting his character image from a defiant, class leader to a vain veteran with an inflated sense of achievement at the end of the night.

After all, Jericho's promo with MJF was an entertaining lead-in to the main event match, where Le Champion's overconfidence got the best of him, and suddenly, posing with Sammy Guevara didn't matter anymore.

I guess we will find out how the AEW World Champion plans to deal with this embarrassment next week. But if there is an important takeaway here, it is that Scorpio Sky managed to pin Le Champion in the ring, which has to be a huge achievement at this stage.

Does this show us that the company's intentions lie in pushing Scorpio Sky to the top of the roster? What do you think?
