Ironically, we all know that Jon Moxley got his first big break as part of a faction (The Shield) several years ago, however, he is a different star right now. In AEW, Moxley has been a lone wolf when it comes to his onscreen persona.

One of the show's biggest angles involves two huge factions battling for supremacy, as The Elite and The Inner Circle are AEW's face and heel factions, respectively. While both groups were the main focus of AEW Dynamite during the show's inception, Moxley did his own thing in the background.

However, things have changed now. Moxley is a crucial aspect of AEW programming alongside Le Champion, Chris Jericho.

A well-defined character never loses its characteristics. Despite being pushed to the AEW World Title scene, at last, Moxley is still the same character from the beginning of AEW Dynamite.

He is the same lone wolf; the same juggernaut who rides solo and doesn't care about anything else that happens on Dynamite every week. So if you had to bet on whether or not Moxley will join The Inner Circle, it goes without saying that his character's traits make it obvious that he probably won't.
