Omega shocked the wrestling world when he re-united with ex tag team partner Kota Ibushi--himself one of the top wrestlers in the world. What's even more shocking is they kept the Golden Lovers gimmick from their rookie days.

The Golden Lovers are, kayfabe wise, actual lovers. They portray a positive, upbeat take on the homosexual lifestyle, which is often treated poorly by the wrestling world. It's highly unlikely that WWE would be interested in signing Ibushi, and even if they did the Golden Lovers would not likely survive the transition because WWE steers clear of controversy when possible.
