What’s the story?

Several wrestlers from all around the world have reacted to the major events that took place earlier today during NJPW’s Power Struggle event in Osaka.

One of the few wrestlers to react on the social media is non-other than former IWGP Junior Tag Team Champion Ricochet, who recently left NJPW. Ricochet tweeted out earlier in the day giving his thoughts on Kenny Omega vs Chris Jericho and also Triple H making a special appearance on Insane Championship Wrestling.

In case you didn’t know…

During NJPW’s Power Struggle event, earlier today, Bullet Club leader Kenny Omega successfully defended his IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship against Trent Berretta.

Following his win over the CHAOS member, Omega cut a promo in front of the Osaka crowd and stated that he has defeated everyone in the company and there is no one left for him to compete against.

However, Omega was then interrupted by none other than former six-time WWE World Champion Chris Jericho who challenged “The Cleaner” to a match at next year’s Wrestle Kingdom. Omega, without any hesitation, accepted the challenge and thus the mega match between the two Canadians was confirmed for November 4, 2018.

On the other hand, WWE NXT producer Triple H earlier today showed up at Scotland’s top promotion, Insane Championship Wrestling, with current WWE United Kingdom Champion Pete Dunne in order to address the Scottish crowd. WWE is currently on a tour in the UK and thus it goes on to explain why Triple H was in Scotland earlier today.

The heart of the matter

Earlier today current PWG Champion Ricochet tweeted out and gave his reactions regarding the Power Struggle event and also Triple H making a special appearance on ICW.

“The Future of Flight” tweeted out by saying that the current wrestling scene is a mad house right now and seemed to be really shocked regarding Jericho’s return to NJPW, and as well as with Triple H making a surprise appearance at ICW.

Ricochet would also praise NJPW for putting up a great show earlier in the day and believes that they completely knocked it out of the park with the Power Struggle show.

What’s next?

As far as, Ricochet himself is concerned it is pretty much likely that he is done with NJPW and reports has suggested that he will sign for WWE’s NXT brand in the near future. The former 6-man NEVER Openweight Champion has also been linked with Impact Wrestling as of lately.

Author’s Take

Personally, I am as surprised as Ricochet is right now. In fact, the whole wrestling world is currently in shock thanks to Chris Jericho making such a huge announcement and also with “The Game” appearing on Scotland’s top promotion on ICW.
