Jericho is currently the IWGP Intercontinental Champion, having beat Tetsuya Naito for the title at Dominion 6.9 in Osakajo Hall back in May. Since then, everyone has been wondering when Jericho will return to defend the title.

Jericho shocked the world attacking Kenny Omega at All In on Sept 1, disguised as Pentagon Jr. creating even more rumours as to when Jericho might return. One of those rumours included joining his former opponent in Los Ingobernables de Japon.
Having a position to do the unexpected, joining his former opponent's faction seems like a possibility. Similar to the logic behind Dragon Lee potentially joining the faction, maybe Jericho impressed Naito in their match?
Maybe it was enough to earn him a spot in Los Ingobernables de Japon? Or maybe it is just simply to have someone in the faction who can speak English and is good on the mic as NJPW tries to build its brand in the U.S.
Other rumours have started to surface of a possible Jericho return on Nov 3 to face other Los Ingobernables de Japon member Evil. If these new rumours are true, the likely hood of Jericho being the new member are very unlikely.
