It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that wrestling is a pretty violent sport. When your daily job involves knocking people’s heads on and about, feelings of frustration are bound to creep in when things don’t go your way or if you hold a grudge against your ‘colleagues’.

And while we’ve seen tables, chairs, ladders and even the ring itself become victims of a wrestlers rage; sometimes those objects just aren’t enough. When everything else fails to become a possible outlet for frustration, wrestlers have been known to destroy the next best thing – Automobiles! WWE is no stranger to automobile destruction and today we’re going to look at 5 times automobiles were destroyed on WWE TV.

#1 Stone Cold Cementing Steve McMahons Corvette

Seasoned WWE fans probably know that the franchise’s head honcho, Vince McMahon isn’t ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin’s favourite person. The wrestler took his distaste for McMahon to new heights on an episode of Raw back in ’98, creating one of the most memorable moments in the process.

Austin drove into the franchise's building in a cement truck, stopped right next to McMahon’s prized Corvette and proceeded to pour cement into the automobile much to the horror of McMahon who could only watch on in sheer agony due to his leg injury.

#2 Vince McMahon Blowing Up His Limo

Besides being counted as a sad case of limousine destruction, this incident will also go down as one of the worst publicity stunts ever. WWE’s fat cat Vince McMahon was probably going through a low phase, which is why he organised a “Mr. McMahon Appreciation Night” which no one really appreciated, causing him to leave the arena in his limo which suddenly blew up.

WWE covered the incident as believably as possible, so much so that even news stations started covering it before the storyline was eventually scrapped owing to the Chris Benoit murder case.

#3 Hulk Hogan Ramming An Ambulance With The Rock Inside

An ambulance is usually considered as one of the symbols of safety, but that definition can go to hell if Hulk Hogan’s involved. Hogan and his NWO cronies bashed up The Rock real bad, so much so that he had to be attended to by paramedics who wasted no time in loading him into an ambulance in order to go to the hospital for further treatment.

But the NWO wasn’t finished with The Rock yet. After sealing the exit so the ambulance couldn’t get out, Hogan promptly got into a semi-truck and proceeded to ram it, full force, into the ambulance carrying The Rock, denting the vehicle really badly, and badly jarring its occupant.

#4 Hulk Hogan Totalling The Undertakers Motorcycle

I’m sure every wrestling fan worth his salt remembers the hilarious feud between Hulk Hogan and The Undertaker. This rib-tickling incident is a result of that feud. The incident began with Hogan looking all over the arena for his rival who was nowhere to be found. Hogan then proceeded to hop onto Taker’s famous chopper and ride around in circles in a bid to draw its owner out. When that didn’t work Hogan hopped into a semi, and after calling for Taker to show himself under the threat of destroying his bike, proceeded to ram the wonderful piece of machinery with full force, totally wrecking it apart.

#5 Brock Lesnar Ripping a Cadillac Apart

A comparatively recent incident automobile destruction on WWE came when Brock Lesnar proceeded to destroy a symbol of America’s pride – a Cadillac. The car, which was a gift from Seth Rollins to Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble, didn’t stand a chance against Lesnar who went at it with two fire axes, while the hapless trio of Rollins, Mercury and Noble unsuccessfully tried to save the vehicle from destruction.

If smashing it up with the axe wasn’t enough, Lesnar proceeded to rip out the car's door and fling it towards the audience where it narrowly missed the mark of a young man in attendance. Sheer agony to watch I must say.
