Shelvey brings down a wayward pass from an Aston Villa defender on his, and then volleys spctacualarly to find the top corner from the edge of the center circle. Shelvey's goal was the third in a 4-1 win for Swansea
His manager, Garry Monk, said that it wasn't a fluke and a goal of that magnitude is expected of Shelvey, “That goal was typical Jonjo, he’s come into the dressing room shouting, ‘Goal of the season’. He tries it in training. It was no fluke.”
