#2 NBA to hear the lawsuit of Donald Sterling

Late last week it was believed that Donald Sterling had agreed to sign papers which would lead to the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers team to Former Microsoft CEO Steve Balmer. The situation has changed completely now. As per latest developments, Sterling will go ahead with his lawsuit on the league which challenges the life ban and $2.5 million fine on him.

Shelly Sterling would go to court Wednesday morning to get an affirmation from the judge, that she acted legally in determining that Donald Sterling was mentally incapacitated.

Prior to the sale deal between Balmer and Shelly Sterling, the NBA had fixed June 3rd as its date to hear Sterling’s suit. Now that Donald Sterling has made a U-turn, the NBA has agreed to reinstate the hearing if Donald Sterling can be proved mentally fit to continue his role as co-trustee of the Sterling Family trust.
