The transfer rumour mills are working overtime since the window opened at the start of the year. Almost every team is looking to strengthen its squad and trying to be better than what they were in the first half of the season.Teams like Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Chelsea are all looking to dip into the transfer market this month to boost their squad for the second half of the season.We take a look at the transfer rumours surrounding these teams today:
#1 Manchester United
Rumour has it that a huge bid of 70 million Euros has been offered for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.
Van Gaal asked Nani to return to Manchester United, just 12 weeks after the club allowed him to join Sporting.
Reports have been claiming that Arturo Vidal has agreed to sign a contract of 5 years with 182,000 Euros per week at Old Trafford. Juventus wants Manchester United to pay up more for his services.
#2 Real Madrid
It has been reported by a daily newspaper that Marco Reus is one step closer to joining Madrid and it has also been claimed that Reus has informed his club Borussia Dortmund about him leaving at the end of the season.
Cristiano Ronaldo could be signed for playing with United States after his agreement with Real Madrid comes to an end. He could also sign another deal with the European Champions before his career ends at Santiago Bernabeu.
According to Spanish daily, Real Madrid is considering to extend Pepe’s contract as he is in an outstanding form despite his increasing age. If the extension does not happen then he will become a free agent in 2016.
#3 Chelsea
Real Sociedad’s boss David Moyes will be looking forward to tempt Mohamed Salah to move to La Liga. He could be a player Jose Mourinho would think of selling or loaning out in January.
Juventus is expecting a whooping 70 million Euros to bid goodbye to Pogba. Chelsea is up for the deal to acquire Pogba in exchange for Ramires and 50 million Euros.
According to a news daily, Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric has agreed to sign a four and a half year deal with Chelsea. He has scored 28 goals in 31 games, his club Rejika has so far turned down two bids from the Foxes.
#4 Liverpool
Reports claim that Brendan Rodgers is willing to raise Liverpool’s offer to acquire Divock Origi. The bid is 4.6m Euros which was earlier 3.1m Euros.

Raheem Sterling is being offered double his wage in order to facilitate his transfer to Real Madrid. Sterling is on 40,000 Euros a week and if Sterling leaves for Madrid, then the Spanish club will increase his wage to around 100,000 Euros a week.
#5 Arsenal
Arsenal seems ambitious to bag striker Mattia Destro and midfielder Marek Hamsik in January. Arsenal gave a whooping bid of 50m Euros to acquire both the players. News has been coming that Roma is desperate to keep Destro and is being taken off the market.
Arsenal approached the player to acquire him but they have not yet made any moves with his club St Etienne. Perrin seems to be the wanted man as Arsenal is in dire need of defensive reinforcements.
Arsenal has jumped into the race for signing Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius. He is expected to be signed by summer. Karius is being considered as Wojciech Szczesny has failed to impress.
