5 Wrestlers who need to increase in-ring repertoire and need a makeover

The ruler of the Roman Empire

WWE has a way with making a character stand out, whether that be in a good way or bad. Sometimes they get it right, and sometimes they get it terribly wrong. And sometimes, all they need to is revamp the original character, like how they have done with Sheamus. While the fans think he looks stupid, the character shift has made a drastic and noticeable change. They should take heed of the response that Sheamus has gotten since his return. There are many wrestlers on the roster right now who have been given a character that doesn’t allow them to live up to their full potential. Here are five of those wrestlers who WWe needs to give a makeover to:

#1 Roman Reigns

The ruler of the Roman Empire

As a fan, WWE has made Roman Reigns kind of a bore to watch as of late. He is always doing the same thing each time he wrestles. They tried to do something different when they placed Bray Wyatt in a storyline with Roman. However, that didn’t play out as well as it could have.

It did bring about a lot of matches with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns teaming up to fight The Wyatt Family. The tag team match was repeated over and over again. Roman Reigns needs a new leaf to be overturned. Maybe he should finally ditch the old Shield song and gear, to replace it with an original design all his own.

#2 Titus O Neil

Titus O’Neil is a superstar waiting to happen

It’s very disappointing how Titus O Neil is downplayed in the WWE. He has such a wide range of talent outside the ring, but it seems that WWE has let his in ring abilities be pushed under the rug so to speak. There are a number of things that have made Titus O Neil look like a joke.

How about that Thanksgiving special where he was challenged to an eating contest? Then he was told he had a match with Cesaro. Of course, we knew what would happen. He puked. He threw up in JBL’s hat, then proceeded to throw up on Zen Colter. He is so much more than a gag act. It is time for WWE to put Titus O Neil with the top runners where he belongs.

#3 Adam Rose

Adam Rose - a failed gimmick

Making his debut in WWE, Adam Rose had some sort of following that included bunnies, an array of men and women dressed in idiotic costumes, and Adam Rose sucking on a lollipop. You have to get your start somewhere, but coming into a company as a character like that seems to be asking for failure or a very short career.

There have been talks of WWE reverting him to his original character of Leo Kruger, the deranged South African. If that happens, that will be a case of mercy-killing.

#4 Fandango

Fandango had steam early as a character

The Fandango dance, which is simply taking your first finger on each hand and moving it up and down in opposite directions, swept the nation. The wide popularity of that dance was played on for much too long.

He was marketed as some dancing God that gyrated his hips as some sort of symbol of his hypnotic dancing, like it was something to revel in. Now that the popularity has died down, it is a perfect time for him to find some original in ring moves and a character to match the originality of those moves.

#5 Bo Dallas

Bo-lieve

“All You Have To Do Is Bolieve”the catchphrase of Bo Dallas. As of late, it seems like that were trying to give him a more cultured and vicious character. Bo Dallas can say some pretty funny lines, but his character could bring so much more than just a funny anecdote to fill empty time on the show.

Along with that condescending attitude he has, he could take a page out of his brother Bray’s book and walk over to the darker side.

What makes Sting special? His first AEW opponent opens up RIGHT HERE.
