WWE Monday Night Raw Preview: 16 June, 2014

It’s that time of the week again when the WWE Universe is going to get their thinking caps on and pile up all the scenarios that might go down at the latest edition of Monday night Raw. After some ground breaking developments of last week, it’s an exciting time for everyone as well. WWE doesn’t have a champion at the moment and the Shield angle is also hot as hell. There are a lot of questions that should be answered this week by the WWE creative and after releasing a healthy amount of superstars there clearly has a point to make. So here is a look at some of the interesting treats that the company might offer us in their latest edition of Raw.

#6 Awesome Wooooooooooo

Ric Flair has cleared his medical examinations in flying colors and is most probably going to appear on Raw this week and by his side will most probably be none other than Miz.

The Awesome one has been out of television for a long time now and will be looking to make a grant return so that he could promote his upcoming flick.

From the word around the block, the company has plans of having Miz play a heel with Ric Flair as his manager. Face or heel, it will be good to see him finally getting back into the mix.

Ric Flair is sure to add in some extra flair into the whole situation and like always he is going to press all the nostalgic switches that we have inside our brain.

#5 One and a half MB

One of the most shocking things that came out this week was the news that WWE released eleven superstars. And in those eleven superstars were two names that was part of one of the most loved stables in WWE in recent years, 3MB.

Before the tears roll down the cheek thinking about Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal, one thing that we should remember is that fact that Heath Slater and Hornswoggle are still there in the roster.

They might not live up to the 3MB, but it will be interesting to see what the company has in store for Heath Slater and Hornswoggle.

Slater might even get some on air time to speak about his friends or he could be pushed back into NXT after which he could be fired just like the way his partners were.

Like Slater, Alicia Fox might also get some mic time to speak about Aksana and with the problems she is having now, it’s going to be chaotic.

#4 Kevin Hart in the house

This week WWE fans will be braced with some good comedy other than their weekly dose of Damien Sandow as movie star and comedian, Kevin Hart will be hosting the show.

WWE has managed to mess up most of the celebrity hosted shows and hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and let Hart have a good time with the fans.

Like always, Damien Sandow might get dragged into a confrontation with Hart and god knows what dress he will put up this time around.

Hart is someone who is known for his incredible charm and timing which are qualities that the company could use for just more than pushing Sandow as a ridiculous waste of talent in the roster.

#3 Mystery partner of Goldust

At Payback, Cody Rhodes revealed that he is not an apt partner for his brother and embarked on an adventurous journey to find the right one for his brother.

He went through the lights of Sin Cara (Who doesn’t speak English according to JBL) and R-Truth but the makeshift teams failed to get a win over the former and not so successful Paul Heyman guys, Curtis Axel and Rybaxel.

After all this experiments, Cody revealed that he found the right partner for Goldust and promised that this mystery guy is going to magnify the magnificence of Goldust.

Now the big question that remains: who is the mystery guy?

It could be one of the NXT stars getting a call up to the roster or could be Ted DiBiase Jr. as rumored but one scenario that’s can’t be ruled out is Cody just turning on his brother and kicking off the Brother-Brother feud.

#2 Seven or Six in Money in the Bank?

The Money in the Bank usually boasts six contestants with it going up to eight in some rare cases. However, from the looks of it, the company might be going for an odd seven this time around.

There are some rumors about this around the internet and WWE even had seven spots in the visual which they showed us after Cesaro got qualified for the match.

So far, we are confirmed about the participation of Bray Wyatt, Cesaro, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Randy Orton leaving two more spaces free provided that the assumption is right.

John Cena is surely going to be in one spot from that two which leaves us with one place that could go to anyone.

Roman Reigns is a favorite for that one as the company could book Ambrose against Rollins at the pay-per-view while Hunter can take a night off. However this would result in Reigns losing for sure so WWE might play it safe by letting Chris Jericho in the match if he returns.

#1 You dont mess with Superman and maniacs

Everyone who watched the last week’s episode of Raw might’ve had their jaws dropped by seeing the intensity with which Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose delivered the promo against Seth Rollins.

Emotions were running wild throughout their speech and Rollins needs to have more than the authority to protect him from the hands of Shield.

Though the duo got a win over Wyatt Family to cool off their anger, they didn’t get what they wanted. The Shield promised to take out Seth Rollins once they get to him and the WWE seems to have set the stage for a good cat and mouse game.

Rollins hiding behind Wyatt Family and Authority to escape from the Shield opens door to some potentially good segments which is going to start this week on Raw.
