WWE Money in the Bank : 5 Matches that the fans deserve to see at the Pay-Per-View

WWE has been subjected to some great criticism over the past few months about the unpopular decisions that they manage to pull off. Some related to the push that wrestlers get while other related to the match card which is supposed to make the fans buzz. The fan often doesnt get what they want at certain times and this lack of synchronization of interests has been affecting WWE big time. The WWE Universe will be evaluating the company on the same matter at Money in the Bank next and there are certain matches that they deserve to see at the pay-per-view. So here is a rundown on those matches which has to happen.

#5 Big E vs. Rusev

Big E and Rusev are two talented names in the roster that can pull of some great matches. Right now, Big E has been booked randomly wasting his talent while Rusev is on the receiving side of the monster push where he squashes all the poor mid carders thrown at him.

And at Payback, WWE experimented by putting the two into a match which almost paid off. Rusev and Big E had some great action to offer, but the ending of Big E tapping out fast ruined the whole effect.

The company sadly didn’t follow up the angle even after a solid match and it’s a mistake that they should rectify at Money in the Bank.

They could have Big E and Rusev facing off in a good lengthy match that could act as a base for a future feud.

#4 Paige vs. Natalya (Divas title)

At the moment, Paige might be headed for a match with Cameron since the two had some friction after Payback. However, the best opponent for Paige in the current roster is Natalya.

Natalya and Paige are two of the most talented divas in the roster right now and it’s surprising why the company hasn’t made full use of the two.

The underdog persona of Paige is getting stale with the fans right now. She has to be booked stronger and nothing can be bigger than a win over Natalya at the moment.

These two are divas who could get the division back on the map as both excel in between the ropes unlike others. At the same time, it could be a great warm up for Paige before AJ Lee returns which is turning out to be one of the most anticipated feuds of 2014.

#3 Summer Rae vs. Layla (Some Gimmick match)

It’s been some time since we’ve seen some good old catfight and the company is leaning towards that option with the angle they have with Summer Rae and Layla.

In the last two pay-per-views, the pre-show match involved El Torito and Hornswoggle; however this time that is not a viable option since 3MB is officially dead.

So what the company could do is that let, Summer Rae and Layla work out some gimmick matches. Now gimmick has importance here since it is not something that we see every day.

The milk bath that Layla had thanks to Summer raised the temperatures sky high and WWE could pull off a match with some equal hotness to keep the fans happy and save their face at the same time since its pre-show.

#2 Ladder match for the Briefcase (Dolph Ziggler vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Bad News Barrett vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Jack Swagger)

The biggest attraction of the Money in the bank pay-per-view has always been the ladder match in which the briefcase is up for grabs.

As Daniel Bryan had to vacate the title due to injury, the company decided to have a match for the title with some star studded names. This has left some deserving names off the ladder match and a potential shot at the being a champion.

The only way in which the company could make fans and those wrestlers happy is by giving a second ladder match.

Wrestlers like Barrett, Ziggler and Cody Rhodes could benefit a lot if they get the briefcase while the other can complement and make the match a complete package.

#1 Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins and Triple H

WWE did a wise decision by leveling the numbers game and letting Randy Orton have a go at the WWE title rather than stick with the Shield angle.

This now leaves these four guys with some interesting possibilities. The first one to be implemented from that would be a tag team match between the two, so that Reigns and Ambrose could have their hands on Rollins but only under the supervision of Hunter.

Triple H could play the savior for Seth in the match making it clear that he is not done with the Shield. At the same time, the company could sow the seeds for possible feuds in the future where Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins can lock horn with Reigns facing Hunter.

The match will be driven with a lot of emotions after the betrayal of Rollins and the inclusion of Hunter adds more complexity and depth to the whole thing.
