WWE Money in the Bank: Prediction for every Championship and Possible Challengers

The next installment of WWEs pay-per-view run for the year is going to be Money in the Bank and as always the gold scattered around the roster is going to have the spotlight.Starting from the top, the WWE World Heavyweight is poised to steal the show as we are sure to see a new champion climbing up the ladder. The matches for the other titles havent been confirmed yet which gives us a chance to play with the predictions.Money in the Bank has always produced some surprises when it came to the championships and here is a look at the possible opponents and the chances of the reigning champions.

#4 Divas Championship

The company is still yet to let Paige drop her underdog status as she is being booked just the way that John Cena used to be booked a while back.

Fans that were following Paige from her NXT days might be getting frustrated by the talent been wasted like this even though she is picking up the wins. At Payback, Paige disposed Alicia Fox in a match which was remembered more for what Fox did rather than the win of Paige.

And the next opponent for Paige will most likely be Cameron as the company played the cards for that match right after Paige won against Alicia.

The company might have to let Cameron grow if the match is to happen. However, Paige is sure to walk out of Money in the Bank with the title.

Prediction: Retains

Possible opponent: Cameron

#3 Tag Team Championship

The Tag team championship has successfully failed to get a place in pay-per-view cards after its pre-show heroics at WrestleMania.

The Division is at one of its biggest lows in recent history as it’s been hold together by one three teams. From those three teams, the Wyatt Family often gets sidetracked due to the push Bray Wyatt gets which leaves Rybaxel and Usos in the mix.

Ryback and Curtis Axel are winning matches, but they are miles away from getting a title shot. Wyatt Family is the best opponents for Usos right now but the chance of Titles changing hands are low.

The reason for this is the impending debut of Ascension who is supposedly a heel team. WWE should have the Usos as champion for that time which means that the twins are going to keep their title at MITB if it’s defended.

Prediction: Retains

Possible Opponents: Wyatt Family

#2 Intercontinental Championship

It was sure that one of the midcard champions was going to end up in the Money in the Bank match. And WWE made it clear when they had Sheamus and Bad News Barrett face it off in the qualifying match.

This means that there will be added pressure on Barrett as he will be the only one defending the title from the two while Sheamus will have a shot at the top price.

As far as the opponent for Barrett is concerned, Rob Van Dam remains the only possible choice now since other big names are busy with the Money in the Bank. However, a wildcard choice for facing Barrett would be Dolph Ziggler.

Ziggler recently revealed that his dream opponent for SummerSlam would be Barrett and is also becoming relevant thanks to his friction with the Authority.

No matter who faces Barrett, the title is going to stay with him as he has some great chemistry with Sheamus and the two could have a unification feud down the lane at some point.

Prediction: Retains

Possible opponent: Rob Van Dam or Dolph Ziggler

#1 WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Vacant is reigning as the WWE World Heavyweight champion after Daniel Bryan being stripped off the title. Six men will now be fighting it out for the title which will be hanged up at the Pay-Per-view.

Alberto Del Rio, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Bray Wyatt and Cesaro are confirmed for the match right now and are sure to be joined by Cena next week.

All the superstars have the capability to carry the title around their waist and the fans would love to see either Cesaro or Bray do the honor. From the looks of it, this might not happen and the title will most likely end up in the hands of a former champion.

Sheamus and Alberto Del Rio are surely not getting it leaving Orton and Cena as the possible ones. From that Orton getting the title would disrupt the Shield run that he is having but could set up the angle when Daniel Bryan returns.

Cena could also end up winning the title due to the sheer star quality that he brings to the title.

Possible Winners: John Cena or Randy Orton

Prediction: Vacant drops the title

An unexpected name just challenged Randy Orton RIGHT HERE.
