WWE Road to SummerSlam: Best Way to book Triple H

Triple H has evolved into a polarizing figure in recent history as some of his decisions sat very well with the fans while the other just fell flat on the face. However, Hunter deciding to wrestle for consecutive pay-per-views is clearly a good sign for everyone as Hunter still is one of the most important crowd pullers in the company making it very important to book him well for SummerSlam. He might be currently stuck in the Shield storyline but with so many financial problems going around in WWE, Hunter has a much better path in which he could go. So far weve seen almost all the main eventers in the Road to SummerSlam series and this time its going to be the cerebral assassin.

#7 Win at Payback by defeating Shield

Hunter wanted Randy Orton and Batista to join up with Shield to get rid of Daniel Bryan initially but as the Hounds of justice realized that they had nothing to do with the Authority, things soon turned around and Evolution reunited to knock out the Shield.

However, the much hyped reunion was tackled well by the Shield who walked away with the win at Extreme Rules.

So one thing which has to happen at Payback is to let Evolution settle the scores and restore their credibility. Hunter could cheat his way to the win making it more heelish.

#6 You are not in charge anymore

The next night, Evolution would be celebrating their win on Raw only to be cut out by Shield. After having some trash talk, Shield could talk about their new sponsor, Vince McMahon.

McMahon could come out and say that he is sick with the way Hunter has run the company so far. He could also say that he is here to change certain things. The first thing that McMahon could change is to undo the singing that Hunter made in the form of Batista.

Vince can simply point out that Hunter only signed Batista only one personal term as he had nothing to offer. He could then fire The Animal and let the Shield take him out of the Arena. As far as Orton and Triple H are concerned, they will be booked in a handicap match against Shield at Money in the Bank with Vince McMahon as the Special Guest Referee.

#5 Handicap match at Money in the Bank

With the number and power on their side, Shield will be looking to end Evolution to help Vince McMahon. Since McMahon is the referee as well, it stacks the odds against Hunter and Orton.

The fans would love to see two heels getting beaten up by the company’s top baby faces. Shield could win the match with the help of Vince McMahon and simply embarrass Evolution.

Shield standing tall with Vince McMahon as the match ends will be a great sight for the fans who would have been fed up with the way that Hunter drove the creative. At the same time, having Vince and Hunter lock horns will be a good feud that the company could show for their TV negotiations.

#4 Now that youve lost

The next night on Raw, Vince McMahon can do some trademark teasing from him side to make Triple H look worse.

And now that Evolution couldn’t overcome the challenge thrown by Shield at Payback, Vince could make Hunter’s life more miserable by putting him and Orton in a loser leaves town match at Battleground. By doing this, Vince would ensure that the Evolution is broken.

At the same time, Vince could add an extra stipulation that if the match ends in a draw, then both the superstars have to leave WWE. This would force Orton and Hunter to fight it out for their job in WWE making it more than just a heel-heel match.

#3 Loser Leaves Town

The underlying tension of potential firing would make the match more intense making the fans invest more in it.

Hunter and Orton have had some memorable matches in the past and it will be an opportunity to brush the memories. Vince could also be ring side to make sure that the no one interferes in the match to help one of the superstars.

But despite, McMahon’s efforts, Stephanie could come to the aid of her husband and help him win against Orton thus taking Orton out for some time to uphold the stipulation that was added to the match.

On the other hand, the Shield could battle the Wyatt Family to renew their old rivalry.

#2 I want the power back

After getting the win against Orton and securing his job, Triple H would make his agenda clear that he wants the power back. He could challenge Vince McMahon for a match at SummerSlam with the company at stakes.

However, Vince wouldn’t be too keen to step into the ring at this age. He would find a credible representative who could face Hunter at SummerSlam, Roman Reigns.

So the match would be set as Reigns and Hunter facing each other at SummerSlam for the company’s control at stakes. The remaining members of the Shield could battle Erick Rowan and Luke Harper for the tag titles provided that they won it from Usos.

#1 The match for Power at SummerSlam

Reigns and Hunter would have more than just the personal issues to deal with in this match as the whole WWE Universe will be eager to see the bout.

McMahon could be on the corner of Reigns as an enforcer just to make sure that Hunter’s friends doesn’t plan to get into the mix. The match could go either way as both the paths opens new doors for the feud.

Hunter winning would mean that Vince will have to struggle for the company now while Reigns winning will give a big star to company. Another option would be to let Vince screw Reigns and extend the feud further with Reigns as the centre figure.

No matter what the conclusion is, a match with such stakes is sure going to be a great addition to the SummerSlam card.
