WWE Royal Rumble 2016: 3 possible endings for Kevin Owens vs. Dean Ambrose match

Lesnar is one angry man

Lesnar needs an opponent for TorontoThe WWE Universe is in for a treat at Royal Rumble thanks to the Last Man Standing match between Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose. These two crazy men will be fighting it out for the Intercontinental Championship at the pay-per-view and the gimmick makes the match more interesting. With the wealth of experience in such matches, both superstars could blow the roof off the arena. It is quite arguably the most exciting bout in the undercard and the climax of the same would have a big impact on the show. So, here are some possible ways in which WWE could end the match.

#3 Wrath of Lesnar

Lesnar is one angry man

Brock Lesnar is one unhappy beast. He wanted to get a clear shot at Roman Reigns, but the Authority wanted him to compete in the Royal Rumble match instead. Lesnar will be competing in the Rumble match due to this but that might not keep him out of the undercard.

He is looking to cause destruction all over and taking out both Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens in the middle of this match, could be a great way to send a message. Lesnar is booked for WWE’s Live Show in Toronto and if he ends up interfering in this one, he could have an opponent for the same or even WrestleMania if WWE wants it to happen.

#2 Lunatic survives

He needs to retain

Dean Ambrose was the United States Champion for a long time.

However, that title reign mostly got overshadowed due to his association with the Shield. His current Intercontinental Championship reign is an exact opposite. He is building up his singles career and dropping the title could result in a big blow for him.

Ambrose needs to have a guaranteed storyline and match heading into WrestleMania and one of the ways in which he could have it is by holding the championship. For that, he needs to come out winning against Owens and a clean win is indeed a big possibility in this match.

#1 It does not end here

He might get his hands on the title again

Dean Ambrose and Kevin Owens are two superstars who have the talent to pull off classics.

This feud has the capability of working through multiple pay-per-views, and if WWE is interested in stretching the storyline, we could see Owens winning at the Rumble. A win for the challenger will open the doors for a much more brutal match at Fast Lane, where these two could blow off the feud.

The only problem with Owens winning is the quick title changes. A major portion of the fan base do not take intercontinental Championship seriously and yet another title change is not going to do any good.
