Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s announcement about his appearance at WrestleMania has really shaken up things and this led to a few speculations as well.WWE’s intentions to bring up a controversial Diva back into the main roster along with the addition of new tag teams into the division also featured in the weekly dose of speculations. Here is a look at the top ones from the lot and their analysis.

#5 New tag team in town

Jack Swagger has officially wrapped up his feud with Alberto Del Rio and he is likely to venture new grounds.

The latest rumors suggest that Swagger will be paired up with Mark Henry to form a new tag team. The move comes as an effort to boost the tag team division – which is a mile away from the one that NXT has.

Mojo Rawley had been recently teasing a main roster call up for the Hype Bros but apparently, WWE is not planning to do the same. The Swagger-Henry alliance, however, is likely to materialize soon as both the superstars do not have any other angle up their sleeve right now.

#4 Kevin Owens was supposed to be in the League of Nations

The concept of League of Nations apparently bombed even though it had huge potential.

Ever since Sheamus lost the WWE championship, the group has gone cold and despite WWE’s attempts to make them look good, the fans are refusing to accept them as a vicious heel stable.

This week, a rumor broke out suggesting that Kevin Owens was supposed to be part of the LON. If we look back, he had actually missed that episode of Raw due to sickness and if Owens was indeed present, he would have been a member of the stable.

What if Owens hadn’t fallen sick that day? It is just another classic ‘what if’ scenario from the company.

#3 Eva Marie making a return to the main roster

Eva Maries attempts to change herself apparently ended up in failure thanks to the NXT audience. They were not ready to accept her in the new persona, and this affected Evas chances badly.

However, this failure has not stopped WWE from backing her.

They are planning to bring her into the main roster soon and she is most likely to play the role she played down in NXT. Whether or not she will be accompanied by Nia is still uncertain at the moment.

WWE still has big plans for Eva and according to the rumors, Vince McMahon sees her as a future face of the division.

#2 Bold booking for Royal Rumble

The fans who wanted to see a Roman Reigns vs. Triple H match at Royal Rumble are not going to be disappointed after all.

WWE has no intentions of booking Sheamus against Reigns at the Rumble, but they are planning to give us something better, a match between Triple H and Roman Reigns.

The Triple H vs. Roman Reigns encounter was bound to happen at some point and in an attempt to create buzz before WrestleMania, WWE is going to book it for Royal Rumble. Triple H could make his return to Raw this week and set up the match.

If WWE does indeed go ahead with the match, it would be a bold move.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s announcement, as we mentioned earlier, was a groundbreaking one.

The addition of his name to WrestleMania 32 is a big boost for Vince McMahon. Most of the fans are expecting Rock to give an appearance like the one he gave at WrestleMania 31 – but according to the rumors – there might be more in store.

There are talks about Rock getting into the squared circle to wrestle at the show and if it happens, WWE will have no troubles selling their Network. There is no news on who Rock’s opponent will be, but the names thrown into the mix are Brock Lesnar and Triple H.
