#5 The Other Guys
The Rock does not star in this movie, but his supporting role is memorable enough to get him into this list at number five. Even so, The Other Guys stands as one of the strongest of his many action/comedies. The movie from 2010 stars Mark Wahlberg and Will Ferrel as two inept cops jealous of other resident super cops (Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson). Jackson and Johnson make a winning team in terms of action as well as comedy.
#4 Fast and Furious 6
It continued the good work done by Fast Five but did not reach the heights reached by its predecessor in terms of the story line and reception. This story moved Rock from being the antagonist to the side of Vin Diesel as they chased down the next gang wreaking havoc. Fast and Furious 6's worst flaw was simply that it wasn't quite as enjoyable as the fifth movie.But Vin Diesel and Johnson make a good team and the speed saga continues.

Pain & Gain is an American crime comedy loosely based on a true story, directed by Micheal Bay starring Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson. Even though Mark Wahlberg is the protagonist, Johnson is the true star of the show. His character is an ex-con whose attempt at reform is ruined by the failed theft, and that's where much of the movie's dramatic weight hails from in the final act
#2 The Rundown(Welcome to the Jungle)
One of the Rock’s earliest movies, this is not one of the most unique movie he has made. But his acting in this movie established him as one of Hollywood, after he had made his name in the WWE. The movie has Johnson cast as a fixer named Beck who is sent to Brazil to bring back his employer’s son. He is the backbone of this movie as he plays the intelligent , nuanced hero with shades of humour.

This is one of the movie franchises that got better as each film went by unlike other franchises. Fast Five is regarded as the best of the lost and has Johnson playing a FBI agent going against the likes of Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. He matches Vin Diesel in pure charisma and machismo as he emerges as the X factor against the gang who are planning the world’s biggest heist.
