Best NBA Player Props for Tonight: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, and Trae Young

Dallas Mavericks v Milwaukee Bucks
Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic

The 2022-2023 NBA season continues on Wednesday (November 2nd) with 22 teams in action. Take a look at three strong player props for tonight's action, featuring Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic, and Trae Young.

NBA Player Prop #1: Giannis Antetokounmpo Over 31.5 Points (-125)

Giannis Antetokounmpo has had an incredible start to the 2022-2023 season. The two-time MVP is second in the NBA, averaging 33.8 points per game, while shooting 58.9% from the field. More importantly, his Milwaukee Bucks are an NBA-best 6-0 despite being without Khris Middleton thus far.

Facing the 2-6 Detroit Pistons for the second time in three nights, Giannis finished the game with 31 points while shooting 52.5% from the field. Look for Antetokounmpo to bounce back from what may have been his worst all-around game of the season.

Both previous times Giannis failed to score at least 32 points this season, he came up with a big performance in the next game. Expect Antetokounmpo to continue that trend by scoring at least 32 points against the Pistons defense that ranks 28th in opponents points per game and 30th in defensive rating.

NBA Player Prop #2: Luka Doncic Over 33.5 Points (-115)

Luka Doncic is currently leading the league in scoring, averaging 36.7 points per game while shooting 50.3% from the field. Furthermore, he has chipped in at least 34 points in all but two games this season. Both times that he failed to reach that mark, there was an underlying factor at play.

In the first of those games, Doncic scored 32 points, but played under 30 minutes as the Dallas Mavericks won by 41 points. He scored 31 points in the second game but had a terrible shooting night as he shot just 8-23 from the field and 0-6 from three-point range.

Facing a Utah Jazz team that has been surprisingly good, it is unlikely that Doncic will sit the entire fourth quarter. It is also unlikely that the three-time All-Star will have another night where he shoots so poorly. Expect Doncic to score at least 34 points in this game.

Best Player Prop #3: Trae Young Over 37.5 Points + Assists (-110)

After receiving heckling chants, Trae Young made it clear that he loves to play at Madison Square Garden. In four games at the iconic arena, including the 2021 playoffs and the 2021-2022 regular season, the Atlanta Hawks point guard has averaged 35.75 points per game and 8.5 assists per game.

Set to make his first trip to Madison Square Garden this season, Young enters the matchup averaging 29.0 points per game and 9.7 assists per game. Look for the two-time All-Star to continue his strong start to the season by delivering another stat-sheet-filling performance in front of a crowd that should be racous.
