Best Parlay (+429) for Falcons vs. Saints - Week 15 - December 18 | 2022 NFL Football Season

Atlanta Falcons v Cincinnati Bengals
Atlanta Falcons v Cincinnati Bengals

The Atlanta Falcons (5-8) will visit the New Orleans Saints (4-9) on Sunday. The Falcons were on a bye last week, yet made waves around the NFL by announcing that third-round pick Desmond Ridder would take over at quarterback for the foreseeable future. He replaces eight-year vet Marcus Mariota, who has thrown 15 touchdowns and nine interceptions in 13 games. Ridder will be without tight end Kyle Pitts, who underwent knee surgery in late November.

The Saints were also on a bye last week, as they, too, got an extra week to prepare for their division rival. Former Cincinnati Bengal Andy Dalton continues to start at quarterback over opening-day starter Jameis Winston. Dalton has tossed 15 touchdowns against seven picks this season. His top two weapons have been in and out of the lineup, but WR Chris Olave and RB Alvin Kamara are slated to play on Sunday. The rookie WR is having a tremendous first season in the NFL, averaging 73.9 yards per game. Meanwhile, Kamara is approaching 1000 all-purpose yards for the sixth consecutive season. All-Pro WR Michael Thomas played only three games this season before undergoing season-ending toe surgery.

NFL Parlay Leg #1: Atlanta Falcons QB Desmond Ridder Over 165.5 Passing Yards (-113)

Riding a player prop on a rookie making his NFL debut may be risky, but Ridder is no stranger to playing under the brightest lights. He faced off against Georgia and Alabama in the New Year's Six bowls while at Cincinnati. So a date with the Saints in the middle of NFL Sunday shouldn't overwhelm the rookie to the point of having a complete dud of a performance in his first career start.

Ridder threw for three touchdowns against two picks during the preseason, going for 185 yards on 21 pass attempts in the preseason finale. Opposing QBs have thrown 16 touchdowns to three picks this season against the Saints.

NFL Parlay Leg #2: Atlanta Falcons/New Orleans Saints Over 42.5 Points (-132)

The New Orleans defense has not been as elite in seasons past, opening the door for the usually anemic Falcons' offense to open it up on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta defense is 22nd in points allowed and 30th in yards allowed. Although both offenses have had issues this season, neither will have to face a top unit on Sunday.

NFL Parlay Leg #3: New Orleans Saints WR Chris Olave Over 50 Receiving Yards (-188)

Chris Olave has been the most impressive rookie WR this season. He averages north of 70 receiving yards per season, despite catching passes from either Jameis Winston or Andy Dalton. Fortunately, the Falcons' secondary has been horrific this season, presenting a golden opportunity for Olave to go bonkers.

NFL Parlay Leg #4: Atlanta Falcons WR Olamide Zaccheaus Over 25 Receiving Yards (-154)

Olamide Zaccheaus is usually suitable for one big play per game. He averages 36.8 receiving yards per game this season and should be able to surpass 25 on one reception. The deep threat should continue to get chances to stretch the field with TE Kyle Pitts out for the season.
