Toronto Raptors v Brooklyn Nets
Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors NBA Prediction

Returning home did not help the Toronto Raptors the last time they took the floor, as they lost by one to drop their third straight game. Meanwhile, the Brooklyn Nets have been cruising through December as they've opened the month 5-1.

One of those wins came over the Raptors in Brooklyn, their third win over the Raptors already this season. This game marks the fourth and final clash between these squads, and the Nets have a shot at earning a season sweep over their divisional foes.

Tonight we'll see if the Nets can have a perfect season against the Raptors or if Toronto can salvage a game in the season series.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors Injury Report

The Nets aren't in too bad of a shape when it comes to injuries. They have Seth Curry (hamstring) listed as questionable and Patty Mills (illness) doubtful.

The Raptors aren't as lucky. Precious Achiuwa (ankle), O.G. Anunoby (hip), and Otto Porter Jr. (foot) have all been ruled out for tonight's game.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors Prediction

This is uncharted territory for this year's iteration of the Raptors, as this is their first three-game losing streak of the season. Still, Toronto is one of the best home-court advantages in the NBA, as evidenced by their 10-4 record in Scotiabank Arena this season.

But as much as I think they're due to turn things around, Brooklyn seems to have their number. The Nets are also healthier and playing better basketball right now, having won eight of their last nine games played. This game should be tight, but I think ultimately the Nets will come out on top and bring out the brooms on the Raptors.

The spread is so small the value is worth taking instead of the money line.

Prediction: Nets -1.0 (-110)
