Both Julia Gorges and Caroline Garcia hold the record for the fourth fastest serve in Women’s tennis

The fourth-fastest serve in Women’s tennis history of 126.1 mph (203 km/h) is held by two players - Germany’s Julia Gorges and France’s Caroline Garcia. Gorges was the first to record this speed during her first round match against Lucie Hradecka at the 2012 French Open where she reached the third round before losing to Arantxa Rus.

Caroline Garcia recorded her serve at 126.1 mph against Italy’s Sara Errani during the 2016 Fed Cup. Garcia won the match in straight sets and France defeated Italy 4-1. France eventually made the final of the Fed Cup where they lost 3-2 to the Czech Republic.
