In the semifinals Friday, fourth seeded Myneni upset top seeded Indonesian Christopher Rungkat 6-2 6-1 in just 51 minutes, while comeback man Amritraj continued his splendid run accounting for eighth seeded Nicolas Reissig of Austria 6-3 6-4 in just 84 minutes.

Myneni put himself in line for a creditable double crown, winning his second consequitive doubles title with Purav Raja.

The top seeded pair came back from being 1-4 down to scrape past second seeded Sriram Balaji and Arun Kumar Rajagopalan 7-5 6-7(3) (10-5) for the title.

The singles semifinals turned out to be damp squib, the 374th Myneni overpowered the tired looking top seed, who has had a great year so far.

The tall and lanky Myneni broke twice in the first set and thrice in the second set to move into the final.

The finals will be played Saturday.
