Bryan brothers win Wimbledon 2013 Men's doubles title

US palyers Bob Bryan (L) and Mike Bryan

Bob and Mike Bryan defeated Ivan Dodig and Marcelo Melo 3-6 6-3 6-4 6-4 to win the Men’s doubles title in Wimbledon 2013 on Centre Court.

By doing so, they have become the first pair to win all four Grand Slam doubles titles simultaneously in the Open era. It was the Bryans’ third Wimbledon title and 15th major title in total.

Having won their sixth Australian Open title and second French Open title earlier this year, if the 35-year-old American twins go on to win their fifth US open title this September, they would become only the second team after Australia’s Ken McGregor and Frank Sedgman, who did it way back in 1951, to win all four major tournaments in the same year.
