Paris, June 5 (IANS) Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic on Sunday won his first French Opne title, after defeating Britain's Andy Murray 3-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 in 3 hours and three minutes, thus becoming the eighth man in history to complete the career Grand Slam.

The 29-year-old Serb notched his 12th Grand Slam championship in total, drawing level with Australian Roy Emerson for fourth place on the all-time title list and is three off Spanish Rafael Nadal and American Pete Sampras and five off Swiss Roger Federer, reports Efe.

Djokovic is most impressively just the third to hold all four Major crowns at the same time, joining Don Budge (1938) and Rod Laver (1962 and 1969).
