The Indian camp had some consolation as Saketh Myneni, who lost his singles semi-final match, paired up with Sanam Singh to bag the men's doubles title, defeating top seeded Thai twins of Sanchai and Sonchat Ratiwatana 6-3, 6-2 in the $50,000 KPIT-MSLTA ATP Challenger tennis tournament on Friday.

Myneni and Sanam received cash prize of $3,100 and 90 tour points while the Thai tandem was richer by $1,800 and 55 points.

It was the third doubles title for Myneni and Sanam this year. The pair had beaten the same Thai combination in the final of New Delhi Challenger after scalping Divij Sharan and Vishnu Vardhan for title in the Kolkata Challenger, both in February.

The singles final will be between fourth seeded Japanese Yuichi Sugita, who overcame Myneni 7-6(6), 6-4 and No.6 Adrian Menendez-Meceiras of Spain, who put out Belgian Kimmer Coppejans 7-5, 7-6(4).
