India breezed into the quarter-finals of men's tennis team competition of the 17th Asian Games with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Nepal at Yeorumul tennis courts here Sunday.

In probably one of the most facile wins of his career, Yuki Bhambri took just 37 minutes to blank Nepal's Jeetendra Pariyar 6-0, 6-0, setting the tone for the rest of the tie.

Sanam Singh too was in fine form, dropping just one game in his 6-0, 6-1 victory over Abhishek Bastola that took only 40 minutes.

Indian doubles pair Divij Sharan and Saketh Myneni completed the rout, spending a little over half an hour to register a 6-0, 6-0 win over Santosh Khatri and Sonam Dawa.

The sixth seeded Indians will face top seeds Kazakhstan, who beat Hong Kong 3-0, in their last-eight match.
