Ajla Tomljanovic recently spoke her mind, sharing some interesting information about her personality, her future tennis plans and ambitions other than tennis.

The World No. 32 was last seen in action on the WTA tour in 2022, competing in the Billie Jean King Cup while representing Australia. She is still recovering from a knee injury after undergoing surgery, which has kept her on the sidelines for months.

The 29-year-old recently spoke to Piper-Heidsieck, the official champagne sponsor of the Australian Open, in a candid interview. When asked when was the last time she cried, Tomljanovic revealed that it was just the other day, as she was rewatching 'Grey's Anatomy.'

"I think I'm really tough but I go through things emotionally, like I always feel things strongly but kind of figure out a way. Yesterday, I was just watching a show and it got to me, I was rewatching Grey's Anatomy," Ajla Tomljanovic said when the interviewer asked what was the last thing that made her emotional.

The Australian also stated that she would love to improve her record in Grand Slam tournaments this year. Her best result so far has been reaching the quarterfinals at the 2022 Wimbledon Championships and US Open. Tomljanovic wished to at least reach the semifinals of a Major tournament in the future.

"Professionally, I would love to go a step further in a slam than I have, so that would be a semifinal. That would be amazing"

On being asked what she would have wanted to do if she wasn't a tennis player, Tomljanovic said:

"I would love to be an actress"

The Florida resident has unfortunately been on the losing end of the last four finals she's been a part of. However, she has consistently improved her game in the last three years and is determined to win her first WTA title.

Despite not playing a single match this season, Tomljanovic reached a career-high ranking of World No. 32 this week.
