Barbora Krejcikova made a fourth-round exit at the 2023 Miami Open after suffering a straight-sets loss against second seed Aryna Sabalenka.

Krejcikova has enjoyed competing across all formats of the sport. The Czech has tasted a lot of success this season, particularly in doubles with compatriot Katerina Siniakova. The duo reached the final of the Australian Open and lifted the cup at Indian Wells.

Krejcikova took to social media to answer a few questions from fans, one of which was whether she had any thoughts about quitting doubles as it might be affecting her singles game.

The 27-year-old made reference to her 2021 Roland Garros run, where she won both the singles and doubles titles and reached the quarter-finals of the mixed doubles.

Krejcikova wrote that although she would like to play all three formats, she is aware that her body won't be able to take the strain.

"No, not really. I love to play doubles and if I was capable of that, I'd play 3 categories like I did in Roland Garros in 2021 when I won singles and doubles title and reached QF in mixed," she wrote. "Unfortunately I know my body can't play 3 categories because I won't be healthy enough to play the full season."

When asked who her best friends were on tour, Krejcikova replied that apart from her doubles partner Katerina Siniakova, she connected with Paula Badosa the most.

Another fan was curious to know if she was friends with Ons Jabeur. Krejkova lightheartedly replied that the question should have been the other way around as Jabuer was yet to accept her friend request on social media.

Another fan asked which of the Sunshine Doubles she liked competing in the most. She chose the Miami Open as she preferred humid conditions over dry ones, similar to that of her home country Czech Republic.
