Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu was mesmerized by American gymnast Luisa Blanco, who scored a perfect 10 on the balance beam at the Power of Pink meet between Alabama and Auburn on Friday.

The No. 11-ranked Alabama Gymnastics team defeated the No. 6 Auburn team at the sold-out Coleman Coliseum in Alabama, cheered on by their home faithful.

Blanco sought to keep Alabama's record against Auburn intact as Alabama has never lost on their home turf against Auburn. Following a picture-perfect routine, Blanco scored a perfect 10, the second of her career.

Overall, Blanco scored a 39.750 in the all-around -- 9.950 in the vault, 10.0 on the balance beam and 9.975 in the floor exercise. Performances from Blanco and Lilly Hudson were most notable, and the Alabama Gymnastics team defeated the Auburn Tigers 197.850 to 197.700.

When a video of the mesmerizing routine was posted, it caught the eye of 2019 US Open champion Bianca Andreescu.

"So impressive," she tweeted.

Andreescu consistently ensures that she voices her support for various sporting achievements and impressive moments, and is often active on social media. Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu was the top seed at this year's Hua Hin Championships but had to bow out of her semifinal match against Ukrainian Lesia Tsurenko.

Andreescu, who suffered a shoulder injury, had to stop mid-match through the match after losing six games on the trot. Until the retirement loss against Tsurenko, Andreescu did not drop a set, sailing past Harriet Dart, Anastasia Zakharova and Marta Kostyuk.

Tsurenko was 7-5, 4-0 up when the Canadian decided to throw in the towel. Tsurenko now faces China's Zhu Lin in the final on Sunday. The Ukrainian only had kind things to say about Bianca Andreescu after the match, as the contest lasted 97 minutes despite the abrupt end. During the on-court interview, Tsurenko said:

"I think Bianca is just an amazing player. I told her that after the match. I think, the way she's playing tennis, is must-see on tour because she's capable of doing all kinds of shots. It gave me so much trouble today."
