Caroline Wozniacki gets hilariously interrupted by husband David Lee while jamming to Akon's hit song 'I Wanna Love You'

Former World No. 1 Caroline Wozniacki was hilariously interrupted by her husband and former NBA basketball player David Lee as she attempted to lipsync Akon's hit song 'I Wanna Love You'.

Wozniacki, who retired in January of 2020, was seen heading out with her husband when she decided to record a video of herself singing the 2006 hit in their car. However, things did not go to plan. Lee, who played for the New York Knicks, could not contain his laughter at his wife's attempt.

The 32-year-old took to her Instagram stories to share a video of the hilarious interaction between the couple.

"My pop star moment was interrupted by my husband," Wozniacki captioned the story.

Lee could be seen cracking up to her song and saying that he does not know who she is anymore, after which the Danish tennis star proceeded to sing the lyrics.

"What the f**k do you think you are right now, let's do it, who are you and what did you do with my wife, Jesus!" Lee sang.

Sporting power couple Caroline Wozniacki and David lee met through a common friend in 2015 at a dinner party.

The pair have been dating since 2015 and are known for their love of traveling. Lee retired from basketball in 2017 while the Danish tennis star was still active on tour. Wozniacki went on to win her only Grand Slam title in 2018 when she won the Australian Open by defeating Simona Halep in the final, 7-6, 3-6, 6-4.

The pair got engaged to be married while vacationing in Bora Bora in November 2017 two years after they started dating. The Dane announced the news on Instagram.

"Happiest day of my life yesterday saying yes to my soulmate," Wozniacki captioned the post.

The pair got married in June 2019 at Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Italy. The star-studded ceremony was attended by Wozniacki's fellow tennis players Angelique Kerber, Agnieszka Radwanska, and NFL player Jesse Palmer. Tennis legend Serena Williams, one of the Dane's good friends, was one of the bridesmaids.

The pair welcomed their first child, daughter Olivia, in June 2021. The couple also have a son, James, who was born in October last year.
