Coco Gauff winning the 2025 French Open after completing a scintillating comeback from a set down against Aryna Sabalenka has become the talk of the tennis town. The American has clinched the second Grand Slam title of her career to bring an end to a superb European clay swing.
The tennis world was in for a treat when the top two seeds, Sabalenka and Gauff, made it to the final of the French Open. Though it was the Belarusian who came out guns blazing, the American turned the game around with her unrelenting will to win (5)6-7, 6-2, 6-4 after two hours and 38 minutes.

Tennis fans went gaga over the match online. One fan confidently claimed that this was just the beginning of Coco Gauff's dominance at the Grand Slam level. The American won her maiden Major at the 2023 US Open, where she also defeated Aryna Sabalenka.

Sabalenka usually teases her team during presentations, even after losing finals, however, this was not the case today. The Belarusian was in tears, which made one fan feel:

On the other hand, Coco Gauff also had some beautiful words for Sabalenka during her speech, as she hailed the Belarusian for the run she has been on lately.
“I’d like to congratulate Aryna. You’re a fighter. You’re the No. 1 player in the world. I know today was a tough match, but you deserve all the results you’ve been having. Every time we play, it’s such a tough match for me. Congratulations. Hopefully we play many more."
Aryna Sabalenka and Coco Gauff are currently leading the WTA Finals race, taking the first and second places, respectively. While the Belarusian has 6420 points, the American has 4598 points.
