Coco Gauff put together a phenomenal clay-court season this year, finishing runner-up in Madrid and Rome before winning her second Major title in Paris in emphatic fashion. The 21-year-old had trailed World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka by a set in the women's singles final before eventually scripting a 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-4 in two hours and 38 minutes.
Since picking up silverware on the famed terre battue, Coco Gauff has been letting her hair down and performing some of her media duties back in the USA. The World No. 2 was even spotted attending the New York Liberty vs. Chicago Sky WNBA game at Barclays Center earlier this week, where she received a standing ovation from the crowd.
Earlier on Saturday (June 14), the two-time Major winner's mother, Candi, took to her Instagram handle to send her love to her daughter. She reposted a compilation reel of Gauff's exploits this week with a love emoji.

For those unaware, Candi Gauff was a track-and-field star at Florida State University during her heyday. Aside from her college sports career, the 54-year-old was also a prominent high school sports athlete, picking up the South Florida Sun Sentinel Athlete of the Year award twice. She has regularly been spotted supporting the 2025 French Open champion from the latter's players' box during big tournaments.
Coco Gauff to next play at Berlin Ladies Open as she begins Wimbledon preparations

Following some well-deserved rest, Coco Gauff will make her on-court return at the 2025 Berlin Ladies Open next week. The 21-year-old is seeded second at the WTA 500 tournament, which ensures that she will receive a first-round Bye. She will then face either Daria Kasatkina or a qualifier for a place in the last eight in Berlin.
Gauff has made three career appearances at the Berlin Ladies Open, which was defunct for more than a decade before making a comeback on the WTA Tour in 2021. The American has reached the semifinals twice (2022, 2024) at the grass court tournament.
After her participation at the 500-level event, the 10-time singles titlist isn't scheduled for another tour-level appearance until Wimbledon, where she has yet to go past the fourth round.
