The early betting odds for the third Grand Slam of the season, Wimbledon 2025, are out, and while it features the expected names, there are some dark horses who could stir up a storm at SW19. Interestingly, despite winning the French Open after a dominant display of tennis over the last couple of weeks, Coco Gauff is not the odds-on favorite to win the title according to the odds.

Madison Keys kicked things off in 2025 when she defeated two-time defending champion Aryna Sabalenka in a topsy-turvy thriller to win the Australian Open. Gauff took charge later, handing Sabalenka her second Grand Slam final defeat, to reign supreme at Roland Garros.

Unlike the gap between the Australian Open and the French Open, the WTA stars won't get much time to find their footing on grass as Wimbledon is slated to begin on 30th July. So, who are the early favorites to reign supreme at the coveted grass court Major this year? Let's have a look.

#8 Karolina Muchova

There is no fan out there who isn't familiar with the dynamic tennis Karolina Muchova can play; however, the only thing that has impeded her path to unlocking her full potential has been her struggles with various injuries over the past few years. Though the Czech was finally getting some consistency, she missed out on a majority of the European clay swing due to illness.

Muchova has kicked off her grass swing at the Queen's Club Championships, and her elite tennis quality has made her the eighth favorite according to the odds. She is a two-time quarterfinalist at the event.

Odds: +1800

#6 Madison Keys

Madison Keys unlocked a new gear earlier this year to finally win her elusive maiden Grand Slam title. The American defeated Elena Rybakina, Iga Swiatek, and Aryna Sabalenka en route to her triumph and has since then become a much bigger threat than she already was. She made it to the quarterfinals of the French Open as well, but was defeated by the eventual champion, Coco Gauff.

Keys, who is kicking her grass swing off at the Queen's Club Championships, is the sixth favorite to win the title, tied with another player. She is a two-time quarterfinalist at the event.

Odds: +1400

#6 Barbora Krejcikova

Barboraa Krejcikova shocked the world last year when she won Wimbledon by defeating Jasmine Paolini in the final. Though no one questions her tennis prowess, no tennis fan imagined a 31st seed Krejcikova to go all the way and win her second Grand Slam title.

While Krejcikova may not be at her best coming into this year's edition of Wimbledon, she has shown that she can step up her game at the crucial moments on many occasions. The defending Wimbledon champion is tied with Madison Keys as the sixth favorite.

Odd: +1400

#5 Mirra Andreeva

Mirra Andreeva has taken her game up several notches up during the 2025 season. While everyone was aware of the potential the young Russian possessed, no one expected her to stamp her authority on the WTA Tour so early in her career. She won back-to-back WTA 1000 titles in Dubai and Indian Wells and followed it up with a decent clay swing, making it to the final 8 in Madrid, Rome, and Paris.

The 18-year-old's phenomenal form this year has put her ahead of Madison Keys and Barbora Krejcikova as the fifth favorite. Her best run at the event is a fourth-round finish. She is slated to play at the Berlin Open next.

Odds: +900

#3 Coco Gauff

Despite being in red-hot form, Coco Gauff, who dominated the European clay swing, reaching the finals of two WTA 1000 tournaments and winning the French Open, is placed the third favorite, tied with another player, in the list. Though being third is an amazing feat, the 21-year-old has developed her game to such an extreme high that even fourth place comes off as a surprise.

Gauff's best result at Wimbledon is a quarterfinal finish. After rejuvenating herself from her brutal clay swing, the American will make the transition to grass as she goes for more glory. She is slated to play at the Berlin Open next.

Odds: +700

#3 Iga Swiatek

Despite being out of form for over a year, albeit by her extremely high standards, Iga Swiatek, who hasn't tapped into her true potential on grass, is placed the third favorite to reign supreme at SW19. The Pole's rough patch has also caused her to go, not just trophy-less, but also without a single final appearance in over a year.

Though she has never made a past a quarterfinal at Wimbledon, Swiatek's tennis caliber will still keep fans hooked to their seats in the anticipation of her doing the unthinkable. She is slated to kick her grass season off at the Bad Homburg Open next.

Odds: +700

#2 Elena Rybakina

When the favorites of Wimbledon are listed out, tennis fans start from the top of the list to find Elena Rybakina's name. She has been nowhere near her best this season, with only one title to her name coming in Strasbourg; however, this is her time of the season to step up.

Rybakina, ranked 11th in the WTA rankings, is the second favorite according to odds to win her strongest Major. The 2022 champion will be kicking off her swing at the Queen's Club Championships.

Odds: +500

#1 Aryna Sabalenka

To anyone who has been following tennis this season, Aryna Sabalenka being the favorite for Wimbledon 2025 should not come as a surprise. The Belarusian is far ahead of the rest of the pack at the moment and has been delivering tennis of the highest caliber week after week.

Though Sabalenka has already won three titles this year, including Masters 1000 events in Miami and Madrid, she has also lost four finals at the Australian Open, Indian Wells Open, the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, and the French Open. Though a deep run from the Belarusian would come as no surprise to tennis fans, it will be interesting to see how she performs in the final. She is a two-time Wimbledon semifinalist.

Sabalenka is slated to kick off her grass swing at the Berlin Open.
